This beauty is made of beech wood, weighs one pound and the pegs go through to the bottom of the base then are hand shimmed so they will not pull out of the base. You can stack broom corn three ways or four ways, always your choice. Diameter is is 7 inches, height is approximately 4.5 inches. This is not an original idea but an original design. The first corn broom separator I saw was made by my dear friend Hilary Graves of RootsStones&Bones fame.

Because there’s cotton in the mix you’ll want to either hand wash or machine wash in cold water then line dry. Don’t put this in the dryer. The bag is stout. This clamp can be adjusted for a narrower broom as well. Two large dials make it easy to tighten on the broom. One clamp swings down to allow the clamp on the broom easily. Made of maple. The ship weight is 2 pounds. Clamp screw is 5 inches tall. This clamp does not bend and will hold broom corn in place to allow for clean, tight stitches.
